The Association was established by initiative group of independent performing arts organizations after joining forces to tackle Covid-19 pandemic issues in the cultural field. While advocating of non-governmental performing arts creators and organizations during this period the need to unite cultural operators, to establish a legal body and to carry on was evident. The Association of Independent Performing Arts’ Organisations was established on June 4th, 2020.
